We designed a contextually relevant digital experience that intuitively served up in-depth hotel information, a social feed of guests tweets, photos and ratings. These prototypes followed a narrative, unfolding as users took one step after another into the experience, and let them explore their destination before leaving home.
To be at the forefront of the digital world, creative and tech teams have to plunge deep into research. These exploratory exercises helped the Starwood team architect property pages. In this instance, we discovered that Westin guests are not just hotel-stayers, they’re travelers interested in the locations that they find themselves in.
